Key Stage 3 Curriculum

Key Stage 3 covers Years 7, 8  and 9. Students in Year 9 will ,make their options choices for Key Stage 4 during the Spring term of Year 9.

In Key Stage 3 students are largely taught in form groups and all students follow a curriculum where they access all of the subjects listed below.

In Maths, students are taught in ability groups initially based on their KS2 mathematics performance and then regularly reviewed using a combination of formal assessment and teacher input.

In MFL students will study one of French, Spanish and German in Year 7 and a second language from Year 8.
